Arts Underground is a community facility dedicated to the exploration, teaching, and presentation of Yukon visual arts and culture. The Yukon Art Society (YAS) manages the space and shares programs, projects, and initiatives with program partners MacBride Museum of Yukon History, Friends of the Yukon Archives Society (FOYAS), and the Yukon Arts Centre (YAC). The space and utilities are generously donated by the Hougen Group of Companies. Arts Underground houses the Focus and Edge Galleries, which host monthly exhibitions of Yukon art; a Gallery Shop featuring the work of YAS members; "The Cupboard" art supply store; art studio space; the Hougen Heritage Gallery, which hosts exhibitions of heritage photographs three times yearly; and the YAC ticket office.
