Craft NB / Métiers d’art NB
The New Brunswick Crafts Council/Conseil des Métier d’art du Nouveau-Brunswick (NBCC/CMANB) is a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting excellence in crafts, maintaining standards of craftsmanship, and expanding markets for fine crafts. The mission of the council is to unite, inspire and champion excellence in craft by creating opportunities for makers and audiences.
With over 50 years of experience, The New Brunswick Crafts Council/Conseil des Métier d’art du Nouveau-Brunswick is an active and vibrant participant in the cultural voice of contemporary craft. The Council supports professional craftspeople throughout their careers by providing a variety of opportunities such as festivals; exhibitions; publications; tradeshows; mentorships; workshops; promotion; and advocacy. The Council also strives to further public education regarding the value of handmade goods and the benefit of supporting local craftspeople who contribute to the cultural and economic sectors of this country.
