I am a Textile Artist in St. John's, Newfoundland. I work out of my open studio at the Quidi Vidi Village Plantation, a craft incubation center built on the Atlantic. I love dye work and find it to be the best way for me to express myself. I use natural and synthetic dyes along with print work and embroidery. I create ladies accessories and home decor as a way to showcase my dye work. My business name is Yellow Rose. The Yellow Rose is a special symbol in our family for love, appreciation, and second chances. I bring that message into each piece I create.
