Eugene is a seasoned innovator with a strong background in cybersecurity and sustainability. He created multiple companies spanning medical research, bartering systems, and medical device regulatory consulting. His passion for aviation led him to develop a hybrid eVTOL aircraft for emergency medical services and to earn an M.S. in Aviation and Aerospace Sustainability from Embry‑Riddle Aeronautical University, specializing in cybersecurity.
As CEO of Mevocopter Aerospace, Eugene provides consulting services to empower aviation startups in navigating complex cybersecurity and sustainability challenges. His research includes work on AI in airport security, pilot shortages, and UAV accident analysis, and he has presented at top industry conferences.
His leathercraft activities are a personal hobby.

Eugene studied cowboy boot making in Mexico, English saddle making in Scotland and leathercraft in Toronto. He has won multiple awards, including "Best in Show" in 2014, 2015 and 2019. As a Fellow of CSCL he was responsible for the education of the guild members.
