About
The Alliance is made up of craft councils and guilds, craft media organizations and other craft related industry, educational or government organizations, who express interest in supporting the objectives of the Alliance.
The key purpose of the Alliance is to provide marketing opportunities for Atlantic Canadian producers of craft, giftware and apparel products and to encourage entry into wholesale and export markets and to enhance the professionalism, education and advancement of the sector in Atlantic Canada.
The Alliance produces the annual Craft East Buyers' Expo. Our organization has been assisting makers in the Atlantic region for over 40 years. Craft East is the Premier event for Craft Alliance ~ Alliance métiers d'art. The Alliance is a key leader in the Atlantic craft industry by working to develop regionally based projects to further the goals of the partner organizations.
