Détails de localisation I live in the country and do not sell from my home, but at craft/artisan fairs in the fall near Saskatoon.
Sheila has sewn for decades, taught by her mother. She studied the genetics of coat color in animals professionally and this lead her to fur. She uses fur from Canadian wild animals, garment tanned in Canada, as trim for clothing and accessories. Wool fabric is her base material. She has learned some furrier skills in Germany and Finland, but most by reading and practice. She is happy to share this knowledge with others.
She is interested in promoting the use and wearing of natural fur in honour of our Canadian fur trapping heritage and in respect for the many northern peoples who still depend on fur as part of their livelihood. Thus “Wear Our Heritage” has become her logo.
