Rita was born and raised in southern Saskatchewan. The arts have always played a large role in her life. The play on color with visual art has helped her transgress into fiber and textiles, which is another more complex form of visualization. Rita draws inspiration from the diverse color found in the prairies. She finds that fiber takes it to another level. Rita has a home gallery( by appointment only) and also does commissioned pieces.
