About
Vivian Orr has the privilege of working at the Saskatchewan Craft Council as the Communications & Publications Coordinator. She finds herself constantly inspired by Saskatchewan's talented Fine Craft artists and their exceptional work. Vivian is a SCC Juried Artist in Clay.
Vivian Orr received her BFA in Graphic Design from Concordia University in Montreal, Quebec. She has worked in advertising agencies, design studios and newspapers in Montreal, Edmonton and Saskatoon.
Vivian has always had a love affair with hand made and finely crafted objects. As a member of Saskatoon Techworks, a maker space, Vivian is learning about new technologies and applying it to traditional crafts: this includes prototyping candle designs using a Makerbot Replicator 3-D printer and exploring laser cutting to create wood ornaments.
