Self employed ceramic artist for the last 40 years. Established Westcote Bell Pottery in 1983 in Borden, England. Moved to Ohio in 1985, then New York in 1994 and finally Nova Scotia in 2011. Husband and wife team married to Jacqueline M Cohen. Working in both earthenware and Stoneware clays, making functional and sculptural forms. The decorating is done using slips and under glazes. The current studio is situated on the LaHave estuary in a 100 year old boat house where we make our pieces, exhibit in our 900sqft showroom and teach classes.
