I have had a life long attraction to beautiful colour, which brought me to silk painting, which allows me to achieve brilliant, jewel-like colours on iridescent fabrics. In my early work, I primarily worked with botanical images using nature as a source for colour and shapes. I have also explored patterns on textiles through shibori and silk painted garments, one-of a kind upholstered art chairs, and rug making. Most often, I place colour complements next to each other, so that the colours sing.
