I live in an old farm house on a busy street, under the flight path at the crossroads of CFB Greenwood and the Annapolis River. I consider the coexistence of the transient military population and the firmly-rooted farm culture of my town, as I seek to practice peace in my home and body. In my art, I explore dissolution: the liminal space between boundaries. I like ‘fixing’ things, bringing order to chaos. I enjoy the act of deconstructing and reconstructing; reassembling and stitching materials together is comforting to me.
