Location Details Coming from Whitehorse or Alaska watch out for a blue HW sign "mks pottery ˚ mks healing". Drive into Wintergreen Way and follow up to the second on the left and turn into Lupine Dr. The studio and gallery is on Lot 67! My gallery is 5 min. drive or 15 min. walk away from the DaKu Cultural and the Visitor Centre. During the summer month my work may be on display at the DaKu Centre Gift Shop, the Village Bakery or/and at the Log Church Craft Gallery. In Whitehorse it can be purchased at Arts Underground.

It is wonderful to give form to what needs to be given a form. I work in trust of the beauty that develops, in trust of the piece of art that develops.

These traces I try to find time and again, and to take those steps for myself. Shimaoka describes a way for ceramics to develop that so far is closest to my own style.
An aesthetic of simplicity and tranquility influences my forms and colors, they preserve the spirit that my hands give to the ceramic. I believe in interconnectedness, in all things being one. However, I cannot yet say: I am this. Ceramics is a way for me to experience connectedness, and at times to be conscious of it.
