An active member of the northern arts community, Marlene has a long history coordinating a variety of programs and projects, teaching and pursuing her own practice.
"My work is a bit varied. I have no loyalties to any particular discipline and enjoy discovering and working with different mediums - although clay, encaustic paint, found objects and materials are definitely old friends. At the moment, the exploration of multiples, space and patterns are the focus of most of my creative efforts."
