Leathersmith Designs is a Canadian custom leather craft shop creating quality leather goods & promotional leather products in addition to being a source of leather craft supplies. Our specialty is custom imprinted personalized leather products. Our leather artisans specialize in hand made leather belts, dog collar, guitar straps, dog leashes, wristbands, knife cases, rifle slings, drumstick bags, cellular cases, coin purses, drink coasters, bookmarks, key tags and wallets along with many more numerous custom leather goods.

Jamie Hartling started his leather business in 1975. For 30 years he travelled the craft show circuit selling at craft festivals throughout Nova Scotia, New Brunswick and Prince Edward Island. In 2005, he changed his emphasis to marketing his leather crafts through his website. He and his coworker leather artisans now ship their leather craft products across Canada, United States and Overseas. However we still have our public leather studio in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia so if you are in the area, please drop in and visit us. We would love to give you a tour of our leather shop and explain how we create our finished leather goods starting from the undyed hides.
