Kimberley has been selected twice in the touring exhibition called Dimensions with Saskatchewan Craft Councial.
Kimberley started as a interested fan of glass art style and blossomed into a true fused artist. Kimberley gets her inspiration from the simple beauty of the world around her and her endless picture taking in her garden & colors of the changing seasons. I'm fascinated with designing layers of glass, at times I push the limit with my kiln but I always love to put my twist on my creation being a vessel, plate, bowl or decorative art.
In 2007 Kimberley took her first beginner fusing class and she knew, by her first few pieces that she fused, that she was hooked. She has taken other classes along the way to help build her technique and style using what she has learned, she has created her own style and this shows in her work and her love for glass.
Her passion for making glass art has allowed her to become a active member with Saskatchewan Craft Council since 2011. Kimberley has been able to show her work as a juried member and has won an award EXCELLENCE IN GLASS 2017 and selected again for Dimensions 2019. She is an active member with the Saskatoon Glassworkers Guild since 2008 and on the committee for 10 years. She is part of a annual exhibition for glass called Glass Art. She has been articled in the Saskatoon Star Phoenix in 2012 under GlassArt to showcase creative work, in 2013 Glasswork Showcase, in 2015 Turning LIGHT into CORLOR with GLASS. In 2018 she became active member with the Humboldt Gallery and was articled as a new member. She also enters other programs around Saskatoon (exhibition) & show sales.
Kimberley's final words she loves to create and experiment with glass, she create's what she feel's & sees. She would love to see people view each piece as new creation and value the time spent as ART & COLLECT.
