KELLY JANE BRUTON

An Artist, Designer/collaborator and Art educator Kelly Jane Bruton uses a post disciplinary practice to create unique, rich, poetic artistic creations. Kelly studied at the Nova Scotia College of Art and Design where she graduated with degrees in Fine Art and Art Education (1991). Her life and Art are enriched by world travel, seeking incredible encounters with nature and intense cultural exchange with people.

GENERAL STATEMENT

“I use scale and form to invite spatial and tactile experience for the viewer,
pattern and textures as a non-verbal language, intense or absence of colour to evoke emotion, sensation, curiosity and construct forms whose materials and architecture are metaphors for relationships with human and natural worlds.”
