I specialize in pyrography by hand on a variety of wood species. My work is influenced by historical illustration, classical drawing and medieval and renaissance woodcuts. As an ancient art form, woodburning is an extremely versatile medium which lends itself beautifully to exploring tensions and harmonies between linework and material.
