About

I am a contemporary Canadian artist who creates unique woven metal sculptures that challenge traditional concepts by using 'masculine' materials and industrial hardware pieces-washers,bike parts,
copper wire,- and turning them into Quilts and Vessels that are often categorized as domestic
'feminine' forms. I am intrigued by the ways that the shapes, patinas and colors of prosaic materials and objects can be recombined into a different pattern in a new context.
