Alana Lea Wilson is the craftsperson behind Builderburner Ceramics. She is a Canadian artist whose bright colorful objects in clay range from functional to sculptural and explore the themes of home, belonging, nostalgia and longing.
She received her MFA in ceramics from Edinboro University of Pennsylvania in 2019, and her B.F.A from the Nova Scotia College of Art & Design University in 2010. Alana has participated in residencies, given lectures and workshops, and exhibited her work in Australia, across Canada and the United States. She received the PA Women’s Philanthropy Council Grant in 2018 and has had work featured in Ceramics Monthly. Alana currently lives and works in Sydney, NS.
