Betty has been creating since she was a small child. Beginning with knitting, crocheting, and embroidery, she eventually moved into sewing. She then obtained her degree in clothing and textiles from the University of Saskatchewan. Her next foray was into clay, obtaining a Diploma of Ceramic Arts from SIAST. After working in clay for many years, Betty has now become enamored with fused glass. Her love of texture, contrast, and depth is evident in all of her work, regardless of the medium.
