About
Angela graduated at the top of her class from the Jewellery Essentials Program at Haliburton School of The Arts in 2013, and has been designing and creating fine sterling silver jewellery ever since. Shortly after graduation she started her business Argent Whimsy, and has had the joy of taking part in such notable shows as Artfest Port Credit, Kempenfest, Art in the Park Windsor, and the Goderich Celtic Festival, among many others. Angela finds joy in experimenting with the textures, shapes and the varying finishes that can be obtained from the materials that she works with and frequently she'll use a patina to highlight the contrast in the textures that are created. Inspiration is born from the playful whimsy that runs abundant in her studio combined with her background in theatre, art, and costume design. She hopes that the pieces she creates bring as much joy to the wearer as they do to her while she is making them.
