École de joaillerie de Montréal’s mission is to share jewellery, contemporary jewellery, and craft-specific knowledge and skills with its diverse student body and the larger jewellery and art worlds.
As a partner of the Cégep du Vieux Montreal, the School provides a college training program for technical crafts in the discipline of jewellery.
As a school-workshop, it facilitates graduates’ integration into the labour market and it meets the developmental needs of professional jewellers.
As a center for research and distribution, the institution promotes the jeweller profession through cultural and professional development activities as well as courses in jewellery culture and introduction to jewellery. The School also collaborates on and develops its own research projects.
