About

Growing up I loved to create, and after making the decision to change careers, I spent a few years exploring different creative routes, from sculpting, to wood working, to fashion school in Vancouver. But it wasn’t until moving back to Regina after fashion school, and taking my first pottery class I found a medium that was both exciting and intriguing. It quickly became my passion and led me to open Kota Creates, my own small home studio in the Cathedral Area of Regina. In between the endless possibilities within clay itself, I am currently exploring my ability to create clean, refined, detailed shapes, with simple, yet elegant finishes.
