À propos

I love combining classic and recognizable patterns with luxurious fibres, as well as combining prestigious (or name brand) patterns with utilitarian fibres to create utilitarian daily wear in comfortable natural and lasting fibre.
I am inspired by streetwear fashion, people watching, fashion and textile innovation and art history.
My love of fibre, colour and fashion, while referencing the ubiquitous textiles of our daily lives, jeans, t-shirts, boiler suits, bandanas, and hand towels, are all foundational to my current projects.

Corrina studied studio art at the Maryland Institute College of Art and received her BFA from Emily Carr University of Art and Design. As a visual artist, Corrina contemplated representations of domestic life, looking to interior design and textiles for inspiration. Eventually Corrina took up weaving and began her practice in the applied craft, creating items for domestic use and personal wear.
