The MCC is excited to be hosting a series of online artist talks via Youtube live! These talks are part of the MCC's 2022 Year of Eco Craft, relating to climate change and environmental sustainability through the lens of contemporary craft practice.
David McMillan: Sustainability As Practice - Creating Truly Local Pottery
April 14th, 2022 | 7PM
David will guide us through the research, harvest and processing of natural materials in Manitoba for his pottery. Each material that he uses has a story, geological history, biome, and personality. David’s land based practice is deeply rooted in and pays homage to the place he calls home.
