La Guilde is pleased to partner again with the Arizona Glass Alliance for a virtual presentation by Donald Robertsonon, that will take place on Tuesday, April 20, 2021, at 6 PM (EDT). The event is virtual, free and open to the public, and reservations are required (see below for details).
Donald Robertson’s work has been exhibited in galleries in the U.S. and Canada, as well as Europe and Asia, and can be found in many museum, corporate and private collections. Recognized for his masterful and distinctive approach to lost wax glass casting, his sculptures reference history and mythology and explore the links between the material and spiritual.
His professional practice also focuses on teaching and he is one of the principal teachers at Espace Verre, a glass program in Montreal. Teaching there since 1989, his pedagogy includes kiln casting and cold working glass as well as the technical aspects of the medium.
