About

Learn the basics of crafting knots into a beautiful piece of macramé wall art! All materials are included in this workshop that will teach you how to ensure your cord, how to combine knots, and how to incorporate various techniques for hanging and trimming your work. Using a wooden dowel and combining 100% recycled cotton rope in a wide variety of colours, your final art piece will measure approximately 12” x 12”-16”.

Karen Foster is Blackstar Boho, an Ottawa-based Fibre Art Co. She is a market gardener, garlic farmer and beekeeper at heart who fell in love with macramé one winter during some downtime and now incorporates it year-round- teaching classes, selling at her markets and fulfilling custom orders.
