Exhibition: March 28 - May 30, 2020
Reception: Saturday, April 4, 2 - 4pm
Not wearable, the objects on display are to be contemplated, creations to fondle, and to wonder at. The scale is intimate, handheld. In this body of work, the artist encases rocks with structures of welded steel, much like a line drawing, and finishes it by adding electroformed copper and gold. This exhibition speaks to human attempts to control and possess nature.
