I am inspired by craft, the art of making. My intention is to ignite the spark of creativity
and imagination energizing the wearer and those around them creating new
connections and ideas. Each piece begins with metal sheet or wire unfolding and taking shape through hammer and fire offering a quality that stands out, making it one of a kind.
My passion for Silversmithing began in 2012 while in New Zealand on a meditation
retreat. As an emerging jewelry artist I learned my craft through mentorships with
Metalsmith, Designer & Goldsmith Colin Forster of New Zealand and Artist, Designer,
Goldsmith Sasha Shkolnik of Steveston, BC. Crafting in metal is an exploration in line,
light, form, color, shape and mindfulness. I work with precious metals including sterling
silver, new anti-tarnish silver alloys, fine silver and recycled 10k, 14k gold. I live on a farm in southwestern Ontario.
