Des enfantillages is a collection of kids’ toys, handmade in Montreal by the founders of Shed Espace Créatif, and the parents of 2 young kids, Geneviève Lugaz and Christian Laforge. Shed is a strong believer in slow design, and focuses on quality rather than quantity. All of our toys are handmade, one at a time, with the help of our parents. Our goal is to make unique and original toys that appeal to both little and big kids. We also enjoy putting our own twist on old classics to create simple but inspiring designs that encourage kids to think outside the box. In French, “enfantillages” is a word that’s most often associated with kids, and implies a certain lack of maturity. Shed wanted to play on that idea. Des enfantillages. It’s silly, playful, colourful and delightful!
