I make ceramic vessels. My work sits squarely in the traditional camp of function, while my forms offer a bit more to the imagination than simply serving functional purposes. I enjoy sweeping curvilinear lines, soft edges, and a sense of the sculptural in every piece I make. I believe strongly that craft is a cultural anchor in society and that craft in its traditional form is the lifeblood of a community.
