Sylvia Zhang is a jewelry artist and designer trained in
Central Saint Martins,UK. She graduated form Jewelry Design course from in 2014.
​ Contemporary jewelry appeals to Sylvia because of the great possibilities.She enjoys the open attitude to different material, ranging from precious metal to non-precious material, and this revolution leads to more possibilities and freedom regarding to design. As an independent jewelry designer, jewelry is the media that she can tell her story and deep concerns to the audience.Her works usually highlight curves,organic form and colour. Nature and stories brings her endless inspiration.

and poetry have a similar essence. They are both small and concentrated, so that can be carried with you mentally and physically. They are full of metaphor and very personal.’
Now Sylvia Zhang is a MFA student in the Criticism & Curatorial Practice at OCAD University, Canada.
